You scroll. It stitches.
Hit ⌥⌘L, pick a region or a window, and scroll it yourself. Snapline joins the frames live while a preview grows beside you. Sticky headers and docked footers are detected automatically and kept once, not once per join. Scroll back up, pause to read, overshoot with elastic bounce: none of it corrupts the stitch.
The result is one tall PNG that behaves like any screenshot: annotate it, search it, pin it.
Snapline only reads pixels. It never scrolls for you, never injects input, and Screen Recording stays the only permission it ever asks for.

A full vector toolset: pen, highlighter, arrows, shapes, text, numbered counter badges, and redaction that actually redacts: blur, pixelate, or solid. Crop is non-destructive, with rule-of-thirds guides.

⌥⌘R drags a region, locks a window, or takes a whole display, straight to H.264 MP4 with ScreenCaptureKit. While you record, the menu bar becomes a transport control: pause mid-take and the paused time is simply absent from the file, with no editing afterward.
Finished recordings trim in place: drag the In and Out points, apply, same file, same card. Anything up to a minute converts to a looping GIF with one click.

Every screenshot is OCR'd in the background, on device, in your preferred languages. Search invoice, or a code identifier, and the shots containing that text surface instantly. Copy a capture's text straight from its card.
The Text View opens any shot beside its recognized text, grouped into copyable blocks (a paragraph, a heading, a run of code) and translates them on device, original always in view.

Frequently asked questions
Is Snapline a subscription?
No. You buy Snapline once and the license is yours permanently. The purchase includes a year of new versions; after that the app keeps working exactly as it is, and you can renew whenever a newer version is worth it to you.
How many Macs can I use it on?
All of yours. There's no account to sign in to and no activation server — your license key activates offline, and Snapline doesn't count installs.
Does Snapline collect any data?
No. Capturing, OCR, and translation all run on your Mac, and your captures are ordinary local files — nothing is uploaded anywhere unless you export it yourself. The only system permission Snapline asks for is Screen Recording, which is what capturing the screen requires.
What are the system requirements?
macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel. Snapline is signed with an Apple Developer ID and installs like any Mac app: open the DMG, drag it to Applications.
How do I get my license after buying?
Your license key arrives by email right after checkout. Paste it into Snapline once and you're done — it verifies on your Mac, so it works even offline.
